What courier do we use?
Sleepytot New Zealand uses Courier Post for most of our satchels and small parcels. Most of our parcels will be sent on overnight delivery, however, please allow up to 3 working days for potential courier delays and stock availability.
Any larger items will be sent via TOLL and this will be on a 1-4 working day delivery to urban areas.
Shipping is a $8.00 flat rate for urban areas within NZ order. Rural Shipping is $10.00. Great Barrier Island will be classed as rural.
Free Shipping for NZ orders 120.00 and over.
Once your order has been completed (the payment has cleared and your order is packaged), you will be sent an automated email from our courier service when they have collected your order (please check your spam if you haven’t received it). You will receive another email prior to delivery, and then again when your item has been delivered.
As from 17/03/2023 all parcels under the value of $200 will be sent as non-signature required service as our standard service. This means that the courier will leave your package in a safe place and you do not have to been home to receive the package.
If the courier does not believe there is a safe place to leave the package, they will leave a 'Card to Call' so you can arrange redelivery. If you have experienced thefts in the past, or have had problems with this type of delivery please make a clear comment in the shipping comments to deliver by SIGNATURE ONLY.
For Australia, the flat rate $25.00 tracked. The standard delivery time for Australia is 3-10 working days. Please note, we cannot sell Lulla Doll, or Sleepytots to Australia. Please contact Sleep Tight Babies to place your order. Delivery time for International deliveries to Australia is is 3-10 working days.
International shipping has now been continued as from September 2023. The cost is $45 flat rate for a parcel that is 2 kilos and under. If your parcel is over 2 kilos we will be in touch to quote you a new shipping cost. Delivery times range from 3-10 working days. We are currently not shipping to USA due to tariffs. Expect delays in Canada due to ongoing strikes within their borders.
Sleepytot NZ is not liable for any international customs/duty/import taxes and fees. Please note if your item is sent back to us for reasons out of our control then shipping is non refundable. If your item is returned to us, please note that any associated return fees are the responsibility of the customer. A small restocking fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit, to cover credit card fees not refunded by our provider, and your initial shipping fee will not be refunded.
Delivery times:
Packages to urban areas are often delivered on an overnight service, provided the items ordered are in stock and your order is placed before 2.30pm. We aim to have your package out to you 1-2 working days after you have ordered it.
However please allow 3 working days for delivery, as this covers busier times, items out of stock for a day or two and busy times with the courier companies.
International tracked : 3-10 working days.
Rural delivery
$10.00 flat rate charge for rural orders under $120.00. Please allow an additional 2-4 days for delivery if you are rural.
Packaging and Recycling
At Sleepytot we are trying our best to be eco friendly. We hope to have recycled satchels soon. We will not use bubble-wrap unless your purchase is breakable. If your purchase is a gift please make a note so we can wrap to avoid damage to the packaging of your purchase.
