15 day returns.
You’re most welcome to return for exchange, refund, or credit up to 15 days from purchase. Any items returned must be unwashed, unworn, unused and in their original packaging in the same saleable condition they were sent to you in. We cannot accept returns where the original packaging is damaged or tags/labels have been removed.
Returns are to be shipped at your expense (unless products are faulty) and must be done so with a signature required as we are not responsible for any returned items lost in the post. Once received, we will process your refund or store credit. When you send your item, please include your contact details, order number and whether you would like a refund or store credit. Please do not ship any items for return without contacting us first.
Please note that we do not refund your original shipping cost and if items were eligible for free shipping, we reserve the right to deduct our shipping costs and any merchant fees from any refund due.
Items purchased on sale cannot be returned and any item that has been purchased using a discount coupon such as a sign up code or content creators code can only be returned for a credit.
Please note you cannot return any health or toileting products. This includes essential oils, lotions, protein powders, facemasks, dummies, any toileting products or Fly Legs Up products. These will not be refunded or credited.
Sleepytot NZ will always honour our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Cancelled Orders
If you cancel your order prior to it being shipped, we are happy to credit you the full amount. Refunds may incur up to a 10% handling fee to cover merchant fees already paid to our provider.
Sleepytot NZ is not liable for any international customs/duty/import taxes and fees. Please note if your item is sent back to us for reasons out of our control then shipping is non refundable. If your item is returned to us, please note that any associated return fees are the responsibility of the customer. A small restocking fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit, to cover credit card fees not refunded by our provider, and your initial shipping fee will not be refunded.
Very occasionally a product may develop a manufacturers fault or arrive damaged. We will do everything we can to resolve this situation to your satisfaction, and often give you options to ensure you get the best outcome for you. Our preferred option is to replace the item for you. A refund will only be given if the product cannot be replaced. We can offer credits should you wish to purchase another item from our store.
Please contact us with details of the fault including a photo if possible. Often this means we can send out your replacement before you return the faulty item, which means the problem is solved faster.
Sleepytot NZ reserves the right to obtain a copy of the receipt for proof of purchase. Reimbursement for shipping expenses will be up to the value of the original quoted shipping cost.
Change of mind electrical items / and those run by battery can be returned for a STORE CREDIT ONLY and must be unopened/unused and returned within 15 days.
Before returning a battery operated item which you consider faulty, we require that you have tested your item with a brand new set of high quality batteries, such as Every Ready GOLD, Energizer Plus or Duracell Plus. The majority of ‘faults’ are due to the use or poor quality batteries, such as using a mix of old and new batteries, using rechargeable batteries or cheap chain store or $2 shop batteries.
Discounts
Sleepytot may occasionally provide coupon codes that offer a percentage discount, a monetary discount, or free shipping. These promotions generally apply only to non-sale items, unless otherwise specified. Please be advised that due to certain products having lower profit margins or increased shipping costs, we reserve the right to exclude these items from promotional offers, even if they are sold at full price.
