How do I choose the right size sock for my infant?

Babies come in all shapes and sizes. These sizes are a guideline only and are not a one size fits all. To ensure your socks are not too tight on your infant always place a finger between your baby’s skin and the band of the sock to make sure the items are not restrictive. If you think they are too firm either scrunch the sock down, fold over the cuff, or go to the next size up. Alternatively use the Crew length sockswhich sit lower on the leg. Lamington's knee high socks are designed to be worn below the knee.

How can I stop my socks from pilling?

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to avoid pilling completely. Pilling is caused by friction, the rubbing against another fabric or surface. To reduce pilling, we recommend washing inside out in a lingerie bag. Pilling will increase when worn to bed and with crawling age infants. The feedback we have received is to turn socks inside out for bed or have a pair specifically for sleeping.
