The Woolbabe Duvet sleeping bag is one of the warmest and snuggliest winter sleeping bags available! It’s the only bag in world which uses a quilted wool filling for additional warmth and temperature regulation, as most winter bags are filled with a synthetic polyester or cotton wadding.

It can be used from approximately 14 to 22 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag. Ideal from autumn through till spring, and cooler nights in summer.
The outside layer is gorgeous 30% merino/70% soft cotton blend fabric. This beautifully soft fabric is knitted specially for woolbabe!
The bag is filled with a snug layer of 100% Australian wool filling, which gives amazing warmth and temperature regulating properties. It has the feel of a duvet or thick blanket, and many babies seem to sleep much better in this heavier feeling of wool. The weight of the filling also means less wriggling for a lot of children.
The duvet woolbabe is lined with a lovely 100% cotton lining, which is soft and smooth against your baby’s skin.
The combination of wool and cotton offers the best of both worlds, providing a light cover for your child in warmer conditions. These conditions are often more difficult to gauge what your child should sleep in. The wool component still provides the qualities which react to changes in body temperatures, keeping baby at a constant body temperature, which encourages everyone to have a good nights sleep.

This woolbabe can be used in your carseat or buggy with a 5-point harness. It has a double-ended zip on the front, a travel slot on the back of the bag and domes under the arms for use with smaller babies. The travel slot in the front-zip bag is only in the back, which means that little feet are unlikely to go through the slot which can happen with a side-zip bag. However if you use the travel slot often you may prefer the slot in the front and back.

Choose the correct size Woolbabe sleeping bag or sleepwear item for your baby now. For example the size 2-4yr Woolbabe is designed for toddlers that comfortably fit size 2 pants and weigh at least 12kg. Choosing to purchase a size that's too big for your baby puts them at risk of it not fitting safely. If you're worried that you'll only get a few months of use, keep in mind that Woolbabe sleeping bags are generously sized and are the longest baby sleeping bags on the market. We often get positive feedback from parents that their 2 year olds are still using their 3-24 month size Woolbabe sleeping bag comfortably and haven't yet outgrown it.
Q: I've recently bought one for my 2 and half year old. Could you please recommend a warm long sleeve top that I could pair with this. He has only used sleep bags during the day at daycare and we haven't used one for almost a year.
A:Hello we would not recommend the bigger sleep bags for a newborn as they are quite generous in sizing and heavy but would suggest a lovely warm swaddle instead - here is a link for the 2.5 ergopouch cocoon which mimics the womb feel for a closer fit than a sleeping bag and bubs can...view more be swaddled with arms in or out - it would be would be perfect.
