B.O. Banish is a deodorant paste that neutralises body odour - naturally!

This deodorant formulation banishes unwanted body odour with carefully selected all-natural and organic ingredients that are known for their deodorising abilities and anti-bacterial nature. 

This product is suitable for both women and men with a fresh scent that is pleasing to both.

The formulation is a creamy paste which is packaged in a 50g tin. 

Q&A:

Why natural? Unlike other deodorants, this formulation does not block your sweat glands as it does not contain aluminium, parabens, propylene glycol, triclosan, artificial fragrances or other harmful chemicals commonly found in commercial deodorants. For those familiar with natural crystal deodorants, these are made from mineral salts called Potassium Alum  - which is also a form of aluminium! 

Aluminium build-up in the human body is linked to neurotoxicity (Alzheimer’s specifically), as well as cancer. Sweating is a way of expelling toxins from the body and if the pathway is suppressed by antiperspirant it means toxins accumulate under the skin and can lead to cell mutation and hormone disruption.

Using a truly natural deodorant is particularly important during pregnancy and breastfeeding as anything that is applied to the skin can enter the bloodstream and potentially be passed through to the baby.

New to natural deodorant? If this is your first rodeo, you may find you need to give your pits a chance to detox if you have religiously been using commercial deodorant which is often why people discover they react to natural deodorant. Your body gets sent into overdrive after being chemically suppressed for so long.

Please note: some people find they are sensitive to sodium bicarbonate which is an active and necessary component in the formulation. We cannot guarantee you will not experience a skin reaction and cannot be held responsible if this occurs. Patch testing prior to use is recommended. To do so apply some on a small area of your forearm and wait 10-15 mins to see if irritation occurs. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.   

Application:

With clean, dry hands apply a pea-sized amount with your finger and gently rub it into your clean armpits. Apply daily, or as often as required. It is a bit like moisturising your armpits - in fact, you are!
